Haflong, September’ 19: On behalf of the Haflong Town Committe, the Executive Member of N.C.Hills Autonomous Council i/c Education Kulendra Daulagupu and Deputy Secretary N.C.Hills Autonomous Council as well as i/c the Addl, Director Town and Country Planning H.Haolai ACS distributed Certificate to the successful trainees under Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rojgar Yojanan (SJSRY), in a meeting held at Cultural Institute Hall Haflong today,
All together 545 trainees took part, who were trained in different trade. They includes 200 in computer , 100 in Tailoring, 50 in Embriodary, 75 in Beauty Care, 20 in JCB Driving, 20 in Mass Communication, 20 in Mobile Repairing and 60 in Driving of vehicle.
The training was organised with component Skill Training for employment promotion amongst urban Poor(STEP-UP) in various trade and disciplines.
The ceremonial distribution function was presided over by the Chairman of the Haflong Town Committee Kalijoy Sengyung and was also attended by the Vice Chairman of the Haflong Town Committee Jhon Paithong, as well as by other Members and Officials of Town Committee, Haflong, Bank Officials and dignitaries.
On the occasion all the Chief Guest and guest of Honour spoke on the occasion and urged all the trainees to utilize the skill for livelihood in the respective fields.
