Haflong, September 13, 2014 : The Dimasa Students Union (DSU), Dima Hasao Central Committee, Haflong celebrated the 59th foundation day of the union today with a daylong program held at Cultural Institute Hall, Haflong.
Prakanta Warisa Execuitive Member for Veterinary, N.C.Hills Autonomous Council graced the programme as the Chief Guest, while Kalijoy Sengyung, Chairman,Haflong Town Committee, and Kalyan Daulagupu, President of JNH Dimasa apex body, Depolal Hojai ,Ex- CEM, NCHAC; Mayanon Kemprai, Ex-EM, NCHAC, were present as guest of honour.
Thalendra Dibragade, President of DSU has given the welcome speech highlighting the works done so far and objectives of student unoin, while valuable speeches were given by the Chief Guest ,Prakanta Warisa and member present, on the activities of the Dimasa student Union (DSU) since its inception in the year 1955 towards the students and community in general.
The programm was also attnded by the Members of DSU, Dignitaries and general public
