Haflong, September 19: As part of civic action program the Haflong based 43 Assam Rifle conducted series of free medical camps at Hajadisa and Mahur area in Dima Hasao distrct.
The camp has benefited hundreds of people from nearby remote villages like Bara Digar, Didam Kharo, Daron-I, Nabla Disa, Nomjan, Longkai and Gumvom with different dieses and were treated by the medical team with free medicines.
The camps were conducted by the medical officers from 43 Assam Rifle, Haflong in assistance with staffs Holy Spirit as part of its initiative to help community in remote area of Dima Hasao District. The camp also stressed the need for prevention of dieses at first and aware all the village community present during the event on various preventive measures.The camp was organised keeping in view of different diseases due to change in climate conditions. The event was acknowledged by the villager, civil administration and extended thanks to the 43 AR for their noble gesture.
