Haflong, 10th May: - As part of the ”Clean and Green Haflong”, the Christian youth of Haflong took initiative step to cleaned the town area of Haflong this early morning.
The program was taken up in view to keep Haflong town clean so that the only Hill Station in the state looks majestic and its glory and beauties continues.The objective of the program is to inspire the people in town particularly traders around the market area of Haflong to keep their environment clean and thus effectively contributing service to the country.
Today’s cleanliness drive began from Haflong taxi stand that continued to the market area including the fish market and synod turning area. The cleanliness drive had effectively taken place. Large number of youth from Cachar Hills Tribe (CHT) and Presbetarian Youth Fellowship took part in the cleanliness program.
