HAFLONG, May 9 : The Deputy Commissioner Ranjit Hazarika, today on May 9,2017, conceding the Demand made by the N.C Hills Indigenous Students Forum (NCHSF) and Distribute Relief Materials to Affected families, report the sources of Kuki Students’ Organization today.
According to the sources, the Relief materials (Tin & Tarpaulin) were distributed among around 100 affected families of recent Heavy rainfall, Cyclone and Hailstorm of Retzawl Area, Dolaidisa, Harangajao Etc. He was accompany by Jidung ADC, Shri.Sarma ADC, Rahul Doley, Asstt. Commissioner Ricky Phukan, District Project Officer DDMA, S Faihriem ARO Under Harangajao Block.
The sourced also informed that relief materials Under Mahur Block and other area will be distribute soon. NCHISF was represented by its Preesident David Keivom, Robert Changsan President KSO(A), Sumneikung Thiek President HSA joint Headquarter.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC inform the gathering public that Railway Compensation will be credited to their respective account within this week as all the account have already been submitted to Railway Authorities to transfer the Compensation fund.
