World day against Child Labour observed

Haflong,June12:- Along with rest of the world ,World day against Child labour was observed at Haflong, Dima Hasao on 12th June,2017.The programme was organised by the joint collaboration of Department of Labour and Welfare, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and Child protection Unit,Haflong.
ADC and Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board, Dipak Jidung attended the program as a chief guest.

In his short speech Jidung spoke about the necessary of spreading the awareness among the people about the Children rights. District Child Protection Officer, Anjali Arya spoke about the issues regarding the child labour and the initiative taken by the unit for protecting the children of the district.
The program held at Cultural  Hall was also attended by Dhaniram Tisso ,DSP,Haflong, Sonali Hojai,District Labour Officer, Rymbai, Ladies welfare society, D.D Anand, DPO,SSA,Haflong,members of Child welfare Committe,Haflong, teachers, students and NGOs.
