Haflong, Sept. 04: - North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council’s CEM Debojeet Thaosen inaugurated Robotic Training Programme at the meeting hall of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Haflong today.
In his inaugural speech he encouraged the students to pay keen interest in a technology of automation to help in developing the nation.
This programme is being organised for the first time in Dima Hasao District by NextSapiens under the initiative of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council today and will be followed with robotic lab set up at Don Bosco H.S. School, Haflong.
In the programme today, it was informed that NextSapiens, provider for customised automation solution R & D and education in the field of robotics and automation technology is looking forward to participate at NASA’s international robotic competition in April, 2015. So, a pool of highly talented students is being set up by NextSapiens with the purpose of participation in this competition.
The programme was also attended by Gayatri Naiding, Inspector of School, Kumar Ranjit, Technical Head of South- East Asia, Abhijit Choudhury, Regional Manager, Principals of Government Higher Secondary Schools and Head Masters of Schools and teachers of amidst a large number of students.
